12 boys (1 deceased)...and one more grandchild due in the spring of 2008. Joseph R. Faler (F1.) never remarried, but Sandra remarried a
few more
times and went on
to have 2 more children.

* F8. Rebecca Hudson was Native American.
She was blinded at some point in her life. One account says that while cleaning out her spices, she tossed the
old ones into the fire place and they sparked back into her face, causing the injury. Another says that she was
making lye and was blinded in the process.

*** F8. Rebecca Hudson was F7. George Faler's second wife. His first wife was to Mary Jane
Hastings of Illinois. They wed on January 21, 1854 in Carthage, Hancock, IL. Together George and Mary Hastings
had 3 children:
